How Can You Serve Your Neighbor?
Once a year, volunteers from FPC go out together to live out these words of Jesus found in Matthew’s gospel. This year, we partnered with Kingdom Life Church and St. John’s Lutheran Church. Projects included work for Habitat for Humanity, Your Choices (Randolph Pregnancy Care Center), Asheboro Shelter of Hope, Christians United Outreach Center, and Alpha House; also, painting for a local home owner in need, card-making, cookie-baking for first responders, and engaging residents of a local nursing home with music and games.
