Children at FPC Asheboro

The nurture and education of children is one of our most important priorities. It begins with a loving and stimulating nursery environment for our infants and toddlers, and continues with Christian education opportunities for children of all ages.         Our ministry to young families helps provide support and fellowship to parents who are raising young children.   

An important part of our ministry to children is our half-day preschool program for children aged 2 to 5, September through May (see our Preschool page). To learn more about Children’s Ministry at FPC contact carla@fpcasheboro.org.

Our children’s choirs provide an opportunity for children to learn some basic musical skills and to experience what it’s like to be part of worship leadership by singing several times a year for our services. Our children also have a special time set aside for them in worship, with our weekly children’s messages.

Vacation Bible School, a four-day event held in June, provides children from our church and the community a time for play, crafts, stories, snacks and music related to a biblical theme.

We also plan special events for our children, such as an Easter celebration and a Fall “trunk or treat” and Pumpkin Party.
