Fun & Fellowship Chili Cook-Off
We’re having a Chili Cook-off!! Get your favorite chili recipes rounded up and join us! Sunday, Oct. 6 at 5:00 p.m. in the Large Fellowship Hall! Sign up to enter your chili in the competition or just bring chili to share with others. Sign up to bring your favorite bread, crackers and/or dessert, too! The church will provide the drinks and bowls, etc. Let’s have some fun!

Don’t want to enter chili? Sign up to bring chili or a side item just for our dinner no later than Thursday, Oct. 3!
If you are participating in the chili cook-off competition, then please have your chili to the church by 4:45 p.m. that day!
The chili may be brought in a crockpot and plugged in hot and ready to serve. Bragging rights and an award will be given for the top three competition chilis!
Signup will be available in the narthex after worship!
Fun & Fellowship Paint Party
Have you ever painted a picture? Would you like to learn? We will be hosting a paint party at The Preppy Possum on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 10:00 a.m. The Preppy Possum is a place where anyone can come and create a wonderful painting. They offer classes that are open to all levels including first-time painters and children ages 13 and up. Their instructor, Nikki Cherry, will lead you step by step through the painting to create a beautiful work of art that you can be proud of.
We need a minimum of 10 participants starting at the age of 13 and up! The cost is $35 per person. The fee must be collected before Wednesday, Oct. 2 so that we can get the check to the preppy possum by Saturday, Oct. 19.
