Habitat for Humanity Making Housing Affordable: Changing Lives One Home At A Time
The Randolph County Affiliate was chartered in 1996 and has built 38 houses throughout Asheboro, Randleman, Seagrove, and Liberty. Habitat for Humanity is a Christian organization with a mission to eliminate substandard housing and make homelessness a matter of conscience. “Habitat is a win-win situation. The volunteers are rewarded by productive service, the houses get built, the homeowners provide sweat equity, and everybody wins.” The Randolph County Affiliate was chartered in 1996 and has built 38 houses throughout Asheboro, Randleman, Seagrove, and Liberty. Position: Volunteer Skills Needed: Enjoy working with others Pay: Fulfilling; Rewarding; Volunteers are employees who are not financially rewarded.
